Surrendering and Art!
For the last few days, I have
(as Liseanne here) trying to reflect what I see and experience onto the canvas before me. I am discovering that the capacity to respond to what I truly see demands a willingness to trust, surrender and “jump”. It is a willingness to slip beyond what I know and to allow creation to take over.
All the great mystics and artist have known this.
To surrender is to create; to allow Creation to create me and my art. It is to step out of the way of what is known and to trust in a magnificent unfolding; to let go and move beyond the known self.
