Incendies at the Bytowne
All icscis friends living in the Ottawa region are welcome to join our next icscis night on Thursday February 10th. We will meet at the entrance of the Bytowne cinema (325 Rideau St) at 6:25 p.m. to watch Incendies (scheduled for 6:40 p.m.). The film by Canadian Denis Villeneuve is based on the play with the same name by Wajdi Mouawad; has received several awards in Toronto, Vancouver and Venice and is one of the Academy nominees for Best Foreign Language Film 2011. A film about religious extremism, revelations, hatred and transcendent reconciliations. After the movie, we might be hungry, so let’s have a bite at East African (just across the street).
